Third Party Collection Termination

Northeast Revenue Service, LLC, provides legal and collection services to municipal governments in terminating their third party collection agreements. Our firm enters as attorney of record for the municipality and processes and satisfies any remaining receivables due under the third party contract. Northeast Revenue Service, LLC, also provides a detailed accounting of all transactions for our clients.

As part of the termination of 3rd Party collection contracts, we will provide the following services:

• Negotiate the terms of the termination agreement.
• Enter as “attorney of record” for municipal entity.
• Ensure prior firm withdraws their appearance and our law firm enters its appearance.
• Collect money paid under liens.
• Monitor payments being made.
• Give accounting of outstanding liens.
• Satisfy the liens.
• “Wrap it up.”
• Negotiate settlements with municipalities.
